Jeff Pinkerton OAM, Founder and Proprietor
Prior to establishment of Jeff Pinkerton Finance in 1999, Jeff completed a 40 year career in the finance and banking industry working as a senior manager for one of Australia’s major banking/finance institutions.
Over the span of his career Jeff has acquired broad knowledge, skills and experience in all aspects of the finance industry which enables him to negotiate the very best loan packages for all of his clients.
He has been based in Darwin since 1985 and the local knowledge and networks acquired over this time can be a valuable resource in obtaining finance.
He maintains ongoing interest and involvement with a variety of sporting, community and arts organisations and has been awarded Life Membership by the Apex Association (West Beach Club), the Keep Australia Beautiful Council (NT), the Darwin Sailing Club and the Lord’s Taveners Australia (NT Branch).
Jeff has achieved accreditation as a:-
- Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia (finsia); and
- Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) Credit Adviser.
In June 2016 Jeff was awarded The Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for service to the community of the Northern Territory.
Paul Trigwell
Paul joined Jeff Pinkerton Finance in 2009 after over 20 years lending and banking experience with ANZ, including 12 years as branch manager in Darwin.
He has completed his Diploma in Mortgage/Finance Broking and has up-to-date, in depth knowledge about the mortgage products that he uses when he guides clients through the property buying process.
Paul has lived in the Northern Territory since 1993 and has extensive knowledge of the local real estate market and industry. He is married to Louise and they have three boys.
He is an accredited Finance Broker with the Mortgage Finance Association of Australia (MFAA), the peak industry body for professional finance brokers, and has previously held the position of Chairman of the NT MFAA Committee.
He is an active member of several local sporting clubs.
